I've looked at the backtrace some more and it seems to me that it has all the info you need. The culprit might be libxml2, and the weird UTF character (or whatever it is?) between "17" and "-estradiol" here: #7 0x007429df in xmlAttrSerializeTxtContent__internal_alias (buf=0x97ece48, doc=0x980d498, attr=0x9865438, string=0x98654c0 "Effects of the Japanese herbal medicine Keishi-bukuryo-gan and 17\364\217\260\200-estradiol on calcitonin gene-related peptide-induced elevation of skin temperature in ovariectomized rats ") at xmlsave.c:1992 When I removed it, the sigabrt didn't happen. This message is a notice that Fedora 14 is now at end of life. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 14. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version' of '14' have been closed as WONTFIX.
