Description andyzhu35 2011-06-02 01:24:44 UTC
Description of problem:
F15 installation process can not identify the SATA disk connected through Marvell controller (chipset 88SE6480). The disks can be identified by the F14 process, though.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.6.38.6-27.fc15.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect SATA disk to Marvell 88SE6480 controller
2. start F15 installation, proceed with customization
3. in the next window listing disk; there will be no disk which is from Marvell controller.

Actual results:
No Marvell SATA disk identifiable.

Expected results:
Identify the sata disk connected through Marvell controller of 88SE6480

Additional info:
never tried with raid disks; JBOD only.
