Description of problem: we have version 4.10 which does not work with sandy bridge which needs v.20 or later. Version 4.10 just hangs on sandy bridge (e.g. Lenovo W520).

This also means anyone with Sandy bridge who tries to use the memtest86+ from the F14 or F15 installer will find it just hangs.

I have tested v4.20 from upstream and it works fine on Sandy Bridge ...

Package memtest86+-4.20-1.fc15:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 15 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing memtest86+-4.20-1.fc15'
as soon as you are able to.
