Description Guohua Ouyang 2011-06-02 08:25:41 UTC
Description of problem:
vdc_host_port is always 443 no matter what port you defined in rhevmUI.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhev-hypervisor-6.1-201105010

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure RHEV-M port to 8443 or any port except 443.
2. #cat /etc/vdsm-reg/vdsm-reg.conf

Actual results:
vdc_host_port is always 443.

Expected results:
vdc_host_port should be what you defined in rhevmUI.

additional info:
This will block rhev-h register to RHEVM 3.0 (the linux version).

Comment 2 Mike Burns 2011-06-02 15:01:17 UTC
rhevmUI is part of the vdsm package in 6.2

vdsm version is vdsm-4.9-63.el6

Verified on RHEVM Version ic130

Comment 12 Ortal 2011-07-14 11:04:05 UTC
Scenario:

1. Install rhevm using 447 for https port
2. Ensure that you are connected successfully to the UI
3. Go to the ovirt machine and run ovirt-setup
4. Choose '5' to change the vdc name + the https port - ortal-rhevm1.qa.lab.tlv.redhat.com:447
5. Go back to the UI and approve rhev-h
6. RHEV_H successfully approved.

used:
Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor release 5.7 (20110711.5)
