Description of problem:
I'm upgrading 5.4.0 with embedded DB and in point-release-update.txt document I have been told in step 2 to upgrade packages and in step 3 to create a backup of my database.

In my opinion, I should have been told to create backup of DB before packages upgrade for cases when something goes wrong with packages upgrade.

This issue is resolved with the release of RHN Satellite 5.5. 

As of September 20th 2012, RHN Satellite 5.5 has been generally available.
