Description of problem:
The gnome-shell hangs when either the applications lens is openes when i try to enter any keyword into the search bar.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
latest release as of june 5(with all updates applied)

How reproducible:
open the applications lens and the gnome-shell hangs after a minute or two or enter any keyword intto search bar of acitvities menu
