lspci -vvv

Description of problem:

The VGA uses 2.5GT/s (Gen1 speed), but other PCIe devices seems to use Gen2 speeds, for example, the device "00:10.0 PCI bridge: nVidia Corporation MCP78S" seems to use 5GT/s.
Should the VGA card use it? or there is a reason for not using it?
(I am debuggin a performance problem)

proper option for kernel is radeon.pcie_gen2=1

Note that due to issue with some PCIE bridge we don't enable gen2 link by default. In future version we might do once we sorted out the issue or through the use of whitelist
