Description of problem:
On my Lenovo B450 4TK-B NetworkManager's 'Wireless Networks' can't start if
module acer_wmi is loaded. 


How reproducible:
install fedora 15 with Xfce desktop

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on lenovo b450 laptop
2. Login
3. Try to connect to wireless network

Actual results:
The checkbox tip doesn't appear if i try to turn 'Wireless Networks' on.

Expected results:
The checkbox tip appears, and wi-fi works

Additional info:
blacklisting in /etc/modprobe.d solves the problem

I still get this error, why is acer_wmi autoloaded on a different machine?
I got a Thinkpad E520 and it is certinly not an acer.

What handles the autoloading? I would think the module should test to see if it actually is an acer machine before initializing it's stuff.

has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is
