Driver version tested was: RT3572USB 04/27/2011 2.5.0.0 Looking at various internet threads it seems like this version is quite problematic, but unfortunately ralink do not put older versions on their site. On the second link above, there is a comments thread and it looks like a different user was having a similar crash: http://pastebin.com/fDrD3hit Looks like they were running 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. P67A-UD4-B3/P67A-UD4-B3. As noted above, same error encountered on Fedora 14. For reference, the kernels I have tested on are: 2.6.35.13-91.fc14.x86_64 2.6.38.6-26.rc1.fc15.x86_64 2.6.38.6-27.fc15.x86_64 The kernel version of the successful tests done on i686 Samsung NC10 using same setup method was: 2.6.38.6-27.fc15.i686.pae If helpful, have uploaded SMOLT profile here: http://www.smolts.org/client/show/pub_455153d4-7354-41be-898d-3506a8e7b2a6 We don't provide support for drivers you downloaded from a website. |
