+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #711158 +++

Section 8.4, “Configuring Static Routes” [1] provides information on how to define a default gateway by adding the following line at the beginning of the configuration file:

  default X.X.X.X dev interface

However, the above synopsis and the corresponding examples are missing the "via" keyword, and thus should be replaced with the following line:

  default via X.X.X.X dev interface

That is correct.
