Description Takehiko Abe 2011-06-07 02:19:46 UTC
Some USB keyboards come with power key (usb usage id 0x66).
Pressing the key does not bring the EndSessionDialog as configured
(the org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power button-power is set to
'interactive').

Instead, the following messages are printed to .xsession-errors:

| JS LOG: pushModal: invocation of begin_modal failed
| JS ERROR: !!! Exception was: Cannot grab pointer and keyboard
| JS ERROR: !!! errorMessage = 'Cannot grab pointer and keyboard'
| JS ERROR: !!! dbusErrorName = 'org.gnome.Shell.ModalDialog.GrabError'
| gnome-session[1290]: WARNING: Unable to open shell end session dialog

Furthermore, some actions seem to trigger the failed dialog to appear on screen,
e.g. emptying nautilus trash:

1. hit power on keyboard --> the error message
2. open nautilus trash and hit 'Empty Trash' --> the shutdown dialog
