Description of problem:
X Server crashes, I was kicked out to the console.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-PAE-2.6.38.6-27.fc15.i686

How reproducible:
Rarely, very rarely. I just got second crash in a month period.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plug and mount USB drive.
2. Unmount it
3. Unplug it.
  
Actual results:
X server Crashes.

Expected results:
X server continue to work.

I got a lot of those messages. It was logged every 5 seconds. It stared when I plug a music player to usb, but it "works" with simple 1 gig memory, too.

Sorry, my mistake. Problem is with my music player (some older version of http://www.sony.co.in/product/nwz-b153f) and it is constant. Every time I plug it, I'm spammed by those messages. Every time I unplug it, I have X server crashed.

I always can start it again without reboot, but it's a bit annoying.

Could you please try this update and see if the problems recreate:

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/kernel-2.6.40.6-0.fc15

There have been a few USB drive issues that are fixed here.

Also, if it is really the X server that is crashing and not the kernel, you might want to reassign this to the xorg-x11-server component.

I completely forgot about this request, sorry. It's working since a while. I really don't know why, or how, but yeah... It works.
