Please attach the /etc/cups/ppd/Deskjet_D2300.ppd file. When you create new (another) printer queue, do you see the same problem ? Created attachment 504053 [details]

New ppd with hplip-3.11.5
Deleting and then reinstalling the printer solves the problem. Thanks. OK, we'd better re-create PPDs on upgrade unconditionally for hpcups then. I was able to reproduce this when using DraftGray as the OutputMode. After upgrading to the new hpijs package (which unconditionally regenerates hpcups PPD files), it now works. hplip-3.11.5-3.fc13 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 13. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/hplip-3.11.5-3.fc13 hplip-3.11.5-3.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/hplip-3.11.5-3.fc14 hplip-3.11.5-3.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/hplip-3.11.5-3.fc15 Package hplip-3.11.5-3.fc13: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 13 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days.
