You can disable the reposto. plugin ... but it's not doing anything wrong, as the repo. isn't correct (or being mirrored correctly w/e). I thought I heard about this being fixed though. Moving to distribution to fix the repo. still seeing this, in case anyone thought it was a transient mirroring problem. so a month later, and I'm still seeing this. (It goes away some days, but I'm seeing it almost every time I instantiate yum). What is actually going wrong here ? Is this a mirrormanager bug ? Or a configuration problem on the mirrors (seems unlikely given how many it affects). As shown above, 8e9feac49653dc6f61ba9e8a196aea441197c78ddf0d51cb3b7104cf75930742-prestodelta.xml.gz doesn't exist on a lot of mirrors. In fact, it doesn't even exist on download.fedora.redhat.com All the mirrors that it doesn't exist on are datestamped May 17th. Looking at a mirror that does have the file, it's dated May 18th, as seen here: http://fedora.mirror.iweb.ca/development/15/x86_64/os/repodata/ Is it relevant that that url still has 'development' in its title ? Did some mirrors somehow roll rawhide into f15 ? What is going on here? This was caused by one extra push of the development/15 tree after releases/15 was published, which caused it to have timestamps newer than releases/15. Then the MirrorManager pointers for f15 got moved. rel-eng ticket to fix it: https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/4955 bug reported in mirrormanager but it's really a rel-eng thing to fix: https://fedorahosted.org/mirrormanager/ticket/35 Dave, solution for you is: rm -rf /var/cache/yum/* or upgrade to F16. |
