when using OpenGL. with enabled compiz the screen refresh for some applications, particularly openoffice and firefox, didn't work. the menus and screens look distorted.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.13.0-6.el6.i686
compiz-gnome-0.8.2-24.el6.i686
compiz-0.8.2-24.el6.i686

How reproducible:

always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enable compiz on a system with ATI Radeon X1400
2. open openoffice menus / preference dialog
3.

Actual results:

distorted screen due to not propery working screen refresh and kernel messages [drm:r100_cs_track_texture_print] if compiz is enabled

Expected results:

working screen refresh and not kernel messages

Additional info:

i "solved" the refresh problem by starting compiz with "--indirect-rendering" in compiz-gtk:

function runCompiz() {
        gtk-window-decorator &
# exec compiz --ignore-desktop-hints glib gconf gnomecompat $@
        exec compiz --indirect-rendering --ignore-desktop-hints glib gconf gnomecompat $@
}

i still get the kernel messages but don't notice any problems.

Moving to 6.6 so it has a chance of being retested there and close consequently
