How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure openldap server with ppolicy overlay
2. Configure sssd to authenticate against an ldap server (auth_provider=ldap) 
3. try to login as ldap user
  
Actual results:
The login hangs and timeouts, sssd segfaults

Expected results:
User are able to login
