Description Misha Shnurapet 2011-06-18 12:32:48 UTC
Banshee 2.1.0 has been released on May 12, 2011. It brings a significant change in dependency policy dropping legacy dependencies, and bump other deps to recent versions.

Comment 1 Christian Krause 2011-06-19 15:03:45 UTC
Before banshee can be updated to 2.1.x, a couple of its dependencies must be updated and/or added to Fedora. That will happen in the next time.

However, 2.1.x is a development series and unless there are good reasons, F15 and F14 will be shipped with the latest release of the most recent stable series (2.0.x) of banshee: changing the Version of this bug report to RAWHIDE.

Comment 2 Marcos Mello 2011-09-22 00:49:41 UTC
Banshee 2.2.0 stable is out. Can we have it for F15?

Yes, it is planned to update to banshee 2.2.0 as soon as possible. Unfortunately it requires two new packages which must be added to Fedora before:

- dbus-sharp must be updated to 0.7.0 (because upstream changed, this requires a re-review)

- dbus-sharp-glib
