Description Peter Lemenkov 2011-06-19 05:23:15 UTC
Hello.

There are unhappy users with RTLWIFI cards, who are forced to manually download and compile out-of-tree driver from strange places like this:

http://www.wireless-driver.com/realtek-rtl8191se-rtl8192se-wireless-linux-driver-ver0019/

Proposed addition could help these users a lot.

Instead of enabling RTLWIFI we could enable each of these RTL8192CE || RTL8192CU || RTL8192SE.

We already have that in rawhide:

CONFIG_RTL8192CE=m
CONFIG_RTL8192SE=m
CONFIG_RTL8192CU=m

F15 only has 8192CE because that's all that was supported in 2.6.38
