Comment 2 Michael Schwendt 2011-07-02 23:32:45 UTC
Audacious 2.4.5 is not supported anymore by its developers, since they have declared 2.5.x the new stable release series. As the ALSA output driver is rewritten regularly, I've asked whether they could draw conclusions based on the backtrace and the assertion error, but they don't want to.

If you can reproduce the problem at all and have access to a Fedora "development" repo installation, please try out Audacious 3. For Fedora 15, Audacious 2.5.x is currently still being tested for roll-out.

Fedora 14: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/End_of_life

If you can reproduce a newer release of Audacious, preferably the latest (3.2-beta1) in current Fedora development, feel free to reopen or submit a new bug report.
