reproduce: 1. Plugged in the Logitech Pro 9000. On a win XP Oracle VM, I attached the device and detected succesfully in Windows.
2. Right after it is detected and drivers are installed in Oracle VM WinXP the crash window appeared.

Can this be duplicated without all the proprietary modules like virtualbox and nvidia loaded?

I don't know what those modules are doing and we don't support them.
