Description Elie Bleton 2011-06-20 17:27:52 UTC
Anaconda, through the use of network manager (NM), does not currently support bonded networks.

Support for bonded networks would allow :
 - having a single switch configuration, supporting bonding, instead of two (setup and regular)
 - correct network configuration at first boot (instead of messy network-scripts deployment and simultaneous switch reconfiguration)
 - the ability to reinstall servers without reconfiguring the switches.

Just for the record, I'm mostly speaking about 802.3ad bonding here, which do not degrade gracefully switch side unfortunately - at least in my case.

Support for bonding has been added to F19.
