Note: there's not actually a panic. Beaker just *thinks* there was a panic, because it saw the string "oops", which generally is accompanied by a panic, since we have panic-on-oops set by default. This just appears to be a host-specific timer issue, and an unfortunate string collision from the warning message. This has only been seen on planck.rhts.eng.rdu.redhat.com . P. This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8 and Red Hat does not plan to fix this issue the currently developed update. Contact your manager or support representative in case you need to escalate this bug. Engineering testing has been unable to reproduce this issue after updating the BIOS. I'm closing this issue as notabug. If you experience this issue, please open a new bug and record specific reproducing steps. |
