Description Volker Fröhlich 2011-06-22 10:54:47 UTC
Description of problem:

Please see http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=10332

This bug breaks database initialization and thus renders Mantis unusable with PostgreSQL.

It was obviously solved in 1.2.

How reproducible:

Try to install Mantis with PostgreSQL configured.

I am not sure I will be able to track all the patches that went into 1.2 for fixing pgsql support and backport them for 1.1 before F14 goes EOL.

I'll leave this open in case I found some time to do it or some kind soul provides a suitable patch.

Comment 2 Volker Fröhlich 2011-12-13 19:08:27 UTC
I guess we can close that, F14 reached its EOL. I can't recall whether it should works with PG 8.1, as found in EL 5. In case it does not, we could label the ticket for EPEL 5.

Comment 3 Volker Fröhlich 2012-02-12 16:33:06 UTC
Definitely not an issue for Fedora anymore

Comment 4 Volker Fröhlich 2016-12-20 20:50:49 UTC
I can see that EPEL 5 now has 1.2. I'll finally close this, assuming that it can potentially work.
