initramfs-2.6.38.8-32.fc15.x86_64.img not created a install time

How reproducible:
fresh upgrade

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual results:
no initrd in grub, no file on disk

Expected results:
proper boot as missing rd generate a kernel panic

usual mkinitrd command + grub addition fix the situation

Yours is the only report of this happening, so it must have been some kind of transient error like maybe the system went out-of-memory when creating the initrd.
