Description Pako 2011-06-24 09:08:28 UTC
"Dissolve" or "Fade in-out" animations in GNOME 3 are not a proper effect for opening and closing windows. This effects are used in movies to slow down and soften up the scene, in Linux world there is no word "Slow". So please use another animation. Thank you!

Comment 1 Peter Robinson 2011-06-24 09:55:54 UTC
the decision of effects is made by gnome-shell not mutter, this is likely more suitable to bugzilla.gnome.org as its an upstream development decision.

Comment 3 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 16:37:11 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
