:0-greeter.log for session with messed up greeter screen
This continues to happen every boot/login.
Just in case its useful, I'm attaching the /var/log/gdm/:0-greeter.log (and below, the :0-slave.log) for such a session.

:0-slave.log when greeter screen is 'messed up'
Today's koji/Rawhide updates appear to have fixed this. Not sure which one (listed below): kernel? gjs? I'll let this settle for a day or two, and then close this. Created attachment 509765 [details] Screenshot of messed up gdm-greeter screen Description of problem: If I have my Lenovo X200 "docked" with the laptop lid shut when I boot or when I logoff, the gdm-greeter screen is not displayed properly. I get the usual gdm-greeter screen if the system is undocked with the lid open. I attach a screen shot. I also attach my Xorg.0.log and output of 'dmesg'. My system is a Lenovo X200. The Display is an HP L2208w. If I ignore the messed up display and enter a CR followed by entering my password, gnome session starts and about 10 seconds later the screen "corrects" and my gnome session is as expected. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gdm-3.1.2-2.fc16.x86_64 kernel-3.0-0.rc4.git0.2.fc16.x86_64 How reproducible: Happens every boot and every login. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot (or logout) 2. 3. Actual results: Messed up gdm-greeter screen Expected results: Expect to see nice picture ;) Additional info:
