Description Rex Dieter 2011-06-27 18:45:24 UTC
Due to /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld containing:
# Default-Start: 2 3 4 5

So, the service gets started by default if installed. This is a change of behavior from < f15 where mysqld did not start by default.

As an aside, mysql-server gets pulled in via akonadi on kde desktop, and one mysqld process (by default) is hopefully enough.

Ooops, I misinterpreted the example I was working from. Will fix.
