== Description ==

RedHat 6.1 release notes at link
http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/6.1_Release_Notes/compiler.html
mention following -

GNU Compiler Collection (GCC)
The GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) includes, among others, C, C++, and Java GNU compilers and related support libraries. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 features version 4.4 of GCC, which includes the following features and enhancements:

    * IBM z196 new instruction support and optimizations
    * IBM z10 prefetch instruction support and optimizations

However RedHat technical notes at link
http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/6.1_Technical_Notes/gcc.html
talks only about bug fixes and doesn't mention anything about above 2 features added in GCC ver. 4.4.
We have following justification why it should be included in technical notes.
1)Package update information should contain not only bug fixes information but added features and enhancement as well.

2) Technical notes contain detail changes and zlinux customers refer to technical notes.
