Host name can show perfect in command line, so this is UI issue only. I think we really don't want to limit the number of characters for the hostname. It's possible that we can update the field where the hostname is displayed to stretch across the entire screen. *** Bug 690722 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rhev-hypervisor-6.2-0.2.el6 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set hostname more than 30 characters. (e.g. myhostnameissolongmyhostnameissolong) 2. Locate Status menu list, check hostname. 3. Actual results: Rhevh only show 30 of the preceding characters. Rhevh can't show full hostname. Expected results: Rhevh can show full hostname when more than 30 characters. Or set hostname limit. Additional info:
