Description Will Benton 2011-06-30 16:57:12 UTC
Description of problem:

Several semantic and interface changes between versions 1.2.x and 1.3.x of the Ruby bindings for sqlite3 (called sqlite3-ruby in earlier versions and simply sqlite3 since version 1.3.3) cause rhubarb and applications that depend on it to crash. This means that rhubarb is broken on F15, for example.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

ruby-rhubarb-0.3.0-3

How reproducible:

Attempt to run the rhubarb test suite on F15. Alternatively, install a recent sqlite3-ruby (via rubygems) on F14 or EL.

Actual results:

Many failures.

Expected results:

No failures.

Fixed in ruby-rhubarb 0.4.0-1. Since we have never supported rhubarb on any version of sqlite3-ruby other than 1.2.x, this is not customer-facing and need not appear in tech notes for any upcoming release.
