Description of problem: Whenever I try to connect to interent at the University I have to reboot my device twice or thrice before I get the Web Authentication page.
If I open the browser at home, it directly/immediately connects.
As I have to connect to the University Internet I am required to fill my details of username(student id) and password. But getting to this page takes me several reboots.

How reproducible: Each time I try to reconnect to internet at the University.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start/Restart laptop or when the laptop rises from sleep or hibernation mode.
2.Open Browser

Kernel does not support my wireless card so I have manually installed one.

Comment 2 sybilla 2011-07-06 19:34:17 UTC
It was not an issue with the Network Manager
