How reproducible:
happens every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Freemind
2. Click on a menu to open it

Actual results:
The background color of the menu is white.

Expected results:
The background color of the menu should be grey.

Additional info:
If you right-click on the diagram, the background color of that menu is also white.

Hey,

I could not really reproduce this issue. Could you perhaps give me information about the used theme of freemind (Tools --> Preferences --> Appearance --> Look&Feel).
I use GTK+ since I am on Xfce, what are you using as your preferred Desktop?

Greeting,

Johannes

The Look and Feel field is set to Default. I tried changing this value to Gtk and GTK+ and the menu background color remained as white in both cases.

I am using the Gnome 3 Desktop.

I seem to remember that I noticed the same menu color issue with Gnome 2.32 in Fedora 14, but I'm not certain of that.

Did you restart after changing the theme? Do you have a gtk-2.0 and gtk-3.0 theme installed and which one are you using?

Could you please attach a screenshot.

I did restart after it changing the theme.

Now that you mention it, the white background for the menus only happens when the Look and Feel is set to Default, Gtk, or GTK+.

I'm not sure how the Gtk and GTK+ Look and Feel options work. I think that Themes may have been removed from GNOME 3. In the GNOME 3 Settings, I only find options for changing the wallpaper.

Sorry to say but this is not a freemind bug. It totally depends on the used gtk-theme how the menu is looking.
I for example use a theme with black menus, but due to the reason that Xfce is still mainly gtk-2.0 it has only a basic gtk-3.0 theme so it won't fit to Gnome Shell pretty good.

I will close this bug since it's not a freemind one and perhaps not a real bug at all, sorry.
