upgrade from 5.x to 6.2, message "Major version upgrades are unsupported, uninstall existing version first" displayed as expected now. downgrade from 6.2-09 to 6.1-20110801, it display install and install successfully. downgrade from 6.2-09 to 6.2-07, it also display install but install fail. (bug 725964), will retest this after 725964 is fixed. today we have 6.2-11, downgrade from 6.2-11 to 6.2-09, it display downgrade now and downgrade is successfully. set bug status to verified now, if have different point pls re-open this bug. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
