Description of problem:

Go to Power tab. Reboot/Power Off commands are not executing and are queued for (now) 20+ minutes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: 100% (seen on another system too ... the queue is probably hosed)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try rebooting or power cycling a system
2.
3.

Actual results: Nothing happens. Command stays queued.

Expected results: System should reboot. Commands on queue should execute within a reasonable amount of time. Not 20+ minutes ...

please open a ticket with eng-ops since I can't restart beakerd.

Comment 2 Steven Lawrance 2011-07-12 06:29:37 UTC
The issue appears to be triggered by an exception when communicating with cobbler, either due to a timeout or invalid credentials. The fix ensures any communication with cobbler occurs inside a try: clause.
