I would like for Skynet to redirect to the login page when the session times out.

There is a downside to this request. If you are in a search result view when it times out, you won't be able to see what you searched for last. To alleviate the pain of this, I would like to see a "Go to last search" button somewhere in the interface. That info could be saved in a local cookie so it was not bound to the session. Maybe?
