Description Michal Jaegermann 2011-07-16 17:17:08 UTC
Description of problem:

Updating rhythmbox to version 2.90.1-11.git20110502.fc16 brought through dependencies around 1 Meg of libgpod, which in turn required 2.7 M of gtk-sharp2 and that piled in highly undesirable 43 Megs of mono-core.

As this extra bulk is apparently needed only to support an access to iPod, which is very far from beeing a universal equipment, then it would be really nice to have that part packaged separately, say in rhythmbox-ipod, for those who could use and desire such functionality.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhythmbox-2.90.1-11.git20110502.fc16

This has been fixed in libgpod
