Description fixitdad5 2011-07-17 17:26:23 UTC
SELinux is preventing /usr/libexec/colord from 'read' accesses on the directory /usr/local/Brother/sane/models2.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that colord should be allowed read access on the models2 directory by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep colord /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

My Brother color printer is also a color scanner. Color matching is enabled and the file access may be related to color matching. A file being read is ext1.ini

This is fixed in the latest F15 release. Please execute

# yum update selinux-policy
