I am really not sure whether we want to support Google Chrome, but in case we want, I have this module to add. SELinux is preventing /opt/google/chrome/chrome from 'use' accesses on the fd fd. ***** Plugin catchall_boolean (89.3 confidence) suggests ******************* If you want to allow all domains to use other domains file descriptors Then you must tell SELinux about this by enabling the 'allow_domain_fd_use' boolean. Do setsebool -P allow_domain_fd_use 1 ***** Plugin catchall (11.6 confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that chrome should be allowed use access on the fd fd by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep chrome /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context staff_u:staff_r:staff_execmem_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 Target Context staff_u:staff_r:chrome_sandbox_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 Target Objects fd [ fd ] Source chrome Source Path /opt/google/chrome/chrome Port <Neznámé> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages google-chrome-stable-12.0.742.124-92024 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.10.0-5.fc16 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Permissive Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 3.0-0.rc7.git3.1.fc16.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Jul 15 22:56:12 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 2 First Seen St 20. červenec 2011, 01:03:50 CEST Last Seen St 20. červenec 2011, 01:03:56 CEST Local ID cb1b2b84-de85-43e9-a745-435c0ecf916c Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1311116636.765:1706): avc: denied { use } for pid=7530 comm="chrome" path="socket:[1162737]" dev=sockfs ino=1162737 scontext=staff_u:staff_r:staff_execmem_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tcontext=staff_u:staff_r:chrome_sandbox_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tclass=fd type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1311116636.765:1706): arch=x86_64 syscall=recvmsg success=yes exit=EIDRM a0=8 a1=7fff284a3220 a2=0 a3=1 items=0 ppid=7523 pid=7530 auid=500 uid=500 gid=500 euid=500 suid=500 fsuid=500 egid=500 sgid=500 fsgid=500 tty=(none) ses=129 comm=chrome exe=/opt/google/chrome/chrome subj=staff_u:staff_r:staff_execmem_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 key=(null) Hash: chrome,staff_execmem_t,chrome_sandbox_t,fd,use audit2allow #============= staff_execmem_t ============== #!!!!
