Description of problem: When jabberd is started on Fedora 15, it generates type=AVC msg=audit(1311167750.474:423): avc: denied { read } for pid=3929 comm="c2s" name="stat" dev=proc ino=4026532009 scontext=system_u:system_r:jabberd_router_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:proc_t:s0 tclass=file type=AVC msg=audit(1311167750.474:423): avc: denied { open } for pid=3929 comm="c2s" name="stat" dev=proc ino=4026532009 scontext=system_u:system_r:jabberd_router_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:proc_t:s0 tclass=file type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1311167750.474:423): arch=40000003 syscall=5 success=yes exit=4 a0=420746e1 a1=80000 a2=0 a3=54 items=0 ppid=1 pid=3929 auid=4294967295 uid=497 gid=493 euid=497 suid=497 fsuid=497 egid=493 sgid=493 fsgid=493 tty=(none) ses=4294967295 comm="c2s" exe="/usr/bin/c2s" subj=system_u:system_r:jabberd_router_t:s0 key=(null) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): # rpm -q jabberd selinux-policy-targeted jabberd-2.2.14-1.fc15.i686 selinux-policy-targeted-3.9.16-34.fc15.noarch How reproducible: Seen once, I assume it is deterministic. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install and run jabberd (we do this as part of Spacewalk). 2. Observe /var/log/audit/audit.log. Actual results: The above mentioned AVC denial. Expected results: No AVC denial. Additional info: audit2allow -R says: kernel_read_system_state(jabberd_router_t)
