At the begnning a sample respository is installed (mortages example, shipped with Guvnor). I perform typical actions:

Log in to Guvnor
Open a rule, modify it and save changes
Open the "View source" box
Build the package
Create a snapshot
Log out

These steps are performed in a loop, without restarting the app server nor the browser.
When running on sun's and ibm's jdk one loop takes about 90 seconds and is constant, also when looking at the server log I see that "time for asset list load" is quite constant as well and takes about "20".
When running on openjdk one loop takes about 90 seconds, but after ~100 loops it starts getting higher and 15 loops later it takes about 150 seconds. The "time for asset list load" varries between 30 at the beginning and 300 at the end.

Attaching server logs from an ibm and opendjk run.

Continuing work to tune performance.

Comment 3 lcarlon 2011-08-19 04:56:44 UTC
Has this been fixed? Does it require a release note?

Comment 4 lcarlon 2011-09-13 23:59:38 UTC
Has this been resolved, if so please provide cause, consequence, fix, and Result.

If I don't have anything by the 16th this will be marked as no release note needed.

Thanks
