Description of problem:
When I update thunderbird to thunderbird-5.0-1.fc15 and start it, it writes that mozilla-firetray addon is not compatible.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mozilla-firetray-0.2.8-5.fc15

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install thunderbird & mozilla-firetray-thunderbird
2. start thunderbird
  
Actual results:
msg which says that firetray addon is incompatible with this release of thunderbird

Expected results:
successfully loaded firetray addon

Thanks Adam for reporting this bug.

I apologize for not being able to fix it for the moment as my machine is broken.

You are welcome to fix it, a version bump in install.rdf may be enough ( unless there are other changes in thunderbird core ).

I will try to update firetray as soon as my machine is fixed.

It sounds like an rdf bump and building against xulrunner-5 is enough:

Acording to this:

it's needed a new version and a rebuild against Gecko SDK 6.0.

I've tried the xpi in attach of the issue and it worked.

So only a rebuild of a new version should be enough.

* was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:

as soon as you are able to.
