I would need details to understand what problem you see. Be verbose, not brief. Attach screenshots, config files. The text is readable here and scrolling, too. Created attachment 514873 [details]
playlist shaded
as can be seen in the attatched shaded playlist the font size is smaller then the not shaded playlist.

not shaded playlist
as can be seen in the attached not shaded playlist the font size is bigger and the text is readable.
You may need to revisit your Skinned Interface Preferences and choose a different font. You don't use the default font settings. I've visited the changes between Audacious 2.4.5 and 2.5.4, and there has been a commit by John Lindgren between 2.5.1 and 2.5.2 with the comment "skins: Fix text size in shaded playlist" where the shaded playlist font size was reduced from 8 to 5. I'm not going to question that change, because it doesn't cause any problem here with the default font settings: # ~/.config/audacious/config ... playlist_font=Sans Bold 8 mainwin_font=Sans Bold 9 mainwin_use_bitmapfont=FALSE ... The default seems to be playlist_font=Sans Bold 8 mainwin_font=Sans Bold 9 mainwin_use_bitmapfont=TRUE with the bitmap fonts not supporting Unicode. If the application defaults are a problem for you, please take that up with the developers at http://audacious-media-player.org/ for example in their forum. Enabling bitmap fonts solved the problem. Thanks. |
