Description Levente Farkas 2011-07-23 12:35:58 UTC
since in rhel-6.1 the php version is php-5.3.3-3 the php-extras should also have to update to this version of remove the strict php requires line in the spec.

Comment 1 Dmitry Butskoy 2011-07-25 14:38:10 UTC
php-extras-5.3.2 should be compatible with any newer main php package with the same php-api version.

The binary subpackages (php-mcrypt and so on) actually requires php >= 5.3.2 and php-api = 20090626, hence thay should work with newer php-5.3.3 as well.

Are there any issues shich require to rebuild php-extras against the new version? Besides that, what the php version is in RHEL6, and if it is differ, how to provide in the common el6 branch the support of both RHEL6 and RHEL6.1?

it was phpMyAdmin which require php-mcrypt which gives this error. but as i review it again you seems to right!?
i already rebuild newer php-extras and phpMyAdmin so i no longer be able to recheck it, so i don't know what why was this problem (but it was).
