I found out, you can't add any raster data at all. The reason is an incomplete patch I applied. "you can't add any raster data at all" I confirm that! Later I tried to add another raster with .tif extention and it resulted with the same crash. "The reason is an incomplete patch I applied." :( http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=255158 Please try these RPMs. qgis-1.7.0-5.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/qgis-1.7.0-5.fc15 qgis-1.7.0-5.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/qgis-1.7.0-5.fc14 "http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=255158 Please try these RPMs." I did: Uninstalled qgis-grass-1.7.0-4.fc15.i686.rpm (Because it was giving Transaction errors) Installed qgis-1.7.0-5.fc15.i686.rpm and then qgis-grass-1.7.0-5.fc15.i686.rpm and the problem with adding a raster data was SOLVED.
