We currently advertise libvirt's presence over avahi. It might a nice addition to also advertise what hv drivers the daemon knows about, and possibly what auth mechanisms might be available, so apps can use the avahi data to build a list of URIs that should be supported by the remote host.

Since avahi support is disabled by default these days, and no one has jumped up to implement this, it isn't that useful to keep tracking here.
