I accidentally clicked a link button on RhythmBox. I do not see how this is related to the gnome-shell crash. 1. Run RhythmBox in GNOME Shell 3.2.1 and play music. 2. Mouse over Activities hot corner. 3. Click on RhythmBox but accidentally click the link button. rating: 3 Package: gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) Alt-F2, r, Enter. Wait. rating: 4 Package: gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) Hard to say. It happened few times. Usually when I was trying to minimalise window and recover. For example when I clicked on rhythmbox tray icon. rating: 4 Package: gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) The system was under heavy load (doing a kernel compile). Not sure beyond that. Sorry. :-\ rating: 4 Package: gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) (In reply to comment #32) > The system was under heavy load (doing a kernel compile). Not sure beyond > that. Sorry. :-\ > > rating: 4 > Package: gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16 > Architecture: x86_64 > OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) Well, that comment wasn't particularly useful. I noticed the ABRT message after unlocking gnome-screensaver, so it may have happened while the screen was blank or when I unlocked it. Changing font hinting to slight. rating: 4 Package: gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) I installed alacarte and restarted gnome shell via ALT+F2 and 'r' rating: 4 Package: gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) 1 Open Thunderbird on desktop n°1. 2 Move Thunderbird to deskotp n°2. 3 Go to desktop n°1. 4 Click on awn thunderbird icon. 5 Gnome crashed. rating: 4 Package: gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) This is a rather confusing bug - the original backtrace is a duplicate of bug 705664, but I think most of the crashes that ABRT is detecting as duplicates are actually instead duplicates of bug 773059. I'm going to mark it as a duplicate of bug 773059 to get future ABRT crashes to the right place and because that is appopriate for most of the people on CC. (I hope to do an F16 update fairly soon to fix both crashes) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 773059 *** |
