Introduced as 4b79346074624b419bef590ee17a22029f86b954 while fixing bug 512936. I am amending documentation, to correspond with the behavior: spacewalk.git bd631cc6b85d57a017b22df5e93f8abe91ba9c55 This issue is resolved with the release of RHN Satellite 5.5. As of September 20th 2012, RHN Satellite 5.5 has been generally available. Release Notes and other 5.5 documentation can be found here: https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/docs/Red_Hat_Network_Satellite/ The associated Errata for the 5.5 release are: 5.5 Satellite GA Errata - http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2012-1296.html 5.5 Upgrade Errata - http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2012-1298.html 5.5 RHN Proxy GA Errata - http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2012-1297.html 5.5 RHN Tools GA Errata - http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2012-1299.html Regards, Clifford - Engineering Manager, Satellite |
Description of problem: From satellite-sync man page: --orgid=ORGID org to which the sync imports data. defaults to the org in the export. Even though the organization id is stored in the dump. The defaults, described in the man page, does not work with latest satellite-sync. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): spacewalk-backend-tools-1.2.13-52.el6sat.noarch How reproducible: 1 of 1 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a channel in a non-admin organization 2. Create dump with rhn-satellite-exporter -c my-channel --dir=dump/ 3. Verify that org_id is stored in the dump In ./dump/channels/<channel>/channel.xml.gz should be something like: ...<rhn-channel ... org_id="2" ...>... 4. spacewalk-remove-channel -c my-channel 5. satellite-sync -c my-channel --mount-point dump/ Actual results: Channel is synced to the admin organization Expected results: Channel is synced to the organization 2 Additional info:
