Description of problem:
I change workgroup or netbios name in  
/etc/samba/smb.conf 
and 
/etc/init.d/smb restart.

When check it with
smbclient -L ip.ad.dr.es
, the workgroup or netbios isn't different.

I can change workgroup or netbios only in 
/var/lib/samba/browse.dat
, but this isn't config file.

You must restart nmb not smb for browsing data to be changed.
