Description Dave Johnson 2011-07-27 20:20:51 UTC
Description of problem:
=============================
Over the last week I have been trying to get cloud engine to push a image into either a different datacenter or different cluster under the default datacenter but have come to the conclusion that it is not possible at the moment. The pushes always fail if I use a different datacenter completely or a different cluster within the default datacenter.

For one, the aeolus-image push command to rhevm provider goes through image factory which creates the following json used to register the image and is hard-coded for "_any_" cluster.

{
  "image"   : "target_images/79d2349c-60d8-40b8-8aa8-955811c25efc",
  "apiurl"  : "https://rhevm2.rhq.lab.eng.bos.redhat.com:8548/rhevm-api-powershell",
  "apiuser" : "administrator@rhevm2",
  "apipass" : "password",
  "nfshost" : "10.16.120.18",
  "nfspath" : "/home/dajo/rhevh-export",
  "nfsdir"  : "/mnt/rhevm-nfs",
  "cluster" : "_any_"
}

BZ 726206 - With RHEV, only the Default Datacenter with Default Cluster can be used
In order to use Redhat Enterprise Virtualization Manager, hypervisor servers must be members of the default datacenter and default cluster.
