Description Michal Nowak 2011-07-28 09:09:52 UTC
Description of problem:

Some stray `fg' command in PREIN scriptlet:

Error in PREIN scriptlet in rpm package virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6.x86_64
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.IQo0Wo: line 1: fg: no job control
error: %pre(virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
error: install: %pre scriptlet failed (2), skipping virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6.x86_64.rpm

How reproducible:

always

Additional info:

Also the package changed from noarch to arch, is that expected?

Comment 2 Cole Robinson 2011-07-28 16:08:04 UTC
change from noarch->arch was expected to deal with lack of spice package on no x86.

This issue is caused by a lack of BuildRequires: GConf2 in the rpm specfile.

Comment 8 Cole Robinson 2011-08-01 14:19:56 UTC
hmm, okay I think I know the problem. I'll actually test that it's fixed this
time before pushing a build :)

Comment 9 Cole Robinson 2011-08-01 18:39:17 UTC
Should be fixed in virt-manager-0.9.0-4.el6

Comment 13 Cole Robinson 2011-08-02 14:50:56 UTC
I'm not really sure either to be honest, but either way it should be a separate bug report. Please try filing it against yum first, they will probably have a better idea if it's something that needs to change on the virt-manager side or not.
